Gym - first experience

It was supposed to be every Friday plan, however something always came up (or should I say lupe?) whenever I want to go there. Thankfully last week, I manage to make myself (more to force myself) to spend some time while waiting for Hubby to pick me up. The plan was to go there with Shima but she have to balik kampung that evening so leaving me alone (this mark as another reason that day for me not going there) So malas la wey when you left active life long ago. But this time, why not? It's free! Haha

Some of the equipment

I didnt know they provide almost everything for the staff and it was funny when I wrote on my notes that the gym was located at the floor that is not even listed in the button lift. Lolz. I quickly call Shima and told me the correct floor. After so much laziness reason and occurence happen, I finally managed to check in and I keep having this conversation to myself like 'Waa...' 'Oooo..ade ni' 'Eh ni pun ade'. I have to slap myself to ensure that I didnt do the jakun look :P

Bicycle

They have sauna, swimming pool, snooker, dance studio but my focus that day was gym which mainly elliptical machine. But when I reached there, every equipment that I know how to use was all occupied! Garr... Nak lift berat2 tu xreti la plak kan. Lagipun bukannyer nk bina muscle. Then, I saw an exercise ball and start bouncing myself while waiting my turn. It's not even 5 minutes and there's someone get off from the treadmill. Dengan lajunyer (tp cool) walking ahead to that empty treadmill and start using it.

Treadmill monitor

As a first timer, the first thing come to my mind when I see the monitor was 'Mak aih..bnyknyer butang. Mane 1 nak tekan ni'. Calmly (kononnyer) I press one of the button that I assume normal/auto and it starts moving. Aahh.. camtu ke. Then I start discover other buttons/functions and speed up my walking pace. I glance at the next person's monitor and saw her speed was 10. Oh...tak leh jadi. I should try. I increase the speed up to 7.1 and realize I just cant. hahahah! That's the fastest I could run and keep on maintaining the speed. Soon I realize the girl only have the 10 speed for about a minute and then slowly decrease and stop. Ceh. wat penat je rase challenged.

Elliptical machine

I run for almost 10minutes and the elliptical machine next to me was empty. Thinking of changing the machine but seronok la plak lari ni. Ohh..jakunnyer. Tak pe. Next time naik machine tu plak. I have my time later on. I continue running and after half hour Hubby called and he said if I need more time but I think I have enough. I realized after 20minutes on the treadmill, it automatically changed my speed to 4.1 and keep on decreasing. I was wondering why but I changed it again to 6.3.

Later on after 30 minutes something, I stop the machine and get off it. Upon stepping out from the treadmill and starts walking, I feel like myself have this fast speed but I just slowly walking out from the gym room. Rase macam tengah lari. It was so uncomfortable feeling and somehow I hate it.Then, I realized - Patutlah the speed automatically changed kan. It was set to reduce the speed after 20 minutes for you to slowly have your normal speed when you stop running. Why did anyone would tell me this?! Haha.

Anyhow, it was a good exercise but I must say I prefer running outside the gym. Gym was a good option when you dont have time to go to the park and it was the nearest place to go. At least I prefer having a fresh air rather than air conditioning with the almost-smelly people's sweat :P

Tap Water - Clean Water?

Since we moved into the house, first thing we notice is how bad the water filter outside the house is. It is bad, BAD. I know you can't imagine it. Photo below show relatively how bad it is. Actually a lot worse than that.

"Dah lame ni kot", that's what we thought at first because the water comes out from the tap seems clean.

Then later we changed to a new filter. Guess what, that picture is exactly what we get in less than 3 months of usage. Does it look clean?

It struck me! I can't imagine the quality of water that we get in this country. We pay some hefty money for the water, we pay a lot more for taxes but do we get that in return? Come on, that's the most basic things for day to day life.

Do we expect to rely on bottled water? Water vending machine? Premium water filter that cost thousands?

Bottled water perhaps not the right solution. I believe the same goes to the rest. We really need a clean tap water.

Sadly, seems like nobody cares about the tap water. Are you satisfied?

Fullhouse at Sunway Giza

Along plans for a dinner yesterday and we went to Sunway Giza at Damansara. It's kinda new and (almost) open air shopping complex. They have their own groceries store and according to Ma, barang basah die fresh but of courselah quite pricey (my MIL shop kat Giza tau, kelasss~)

Eh, nk cite pasal dinner sbenarnyer. We went to Fullhouse and it was our first time for both of us and my other SIL, Kak Jah. They have indoor and outdoor place but we prefer dalam rumah la kan, baru feeling :p

Fullhouse yang memang full

Entrance

Not sure if they have some fish inside :P

Your waitress ready to serve

Pink!

They have a concept of 'Lifestyle store and cafe' where you can eat and at the same time shop for some cloths. The restaurant was far way different from any cafe you go. It's white and have some sort of gardens concept. I must say they have some similarities with The Garden.

I almost confuse with both because they both have cage, birds, white furniture and green small trees. The only obvious difference is that Fullhouse has cartoon character and they even have very entertaining yet informative menu list.

Somehow looks like a magazine ;)

Can you read?

Comics at the back

Some stuff that you can buy

Ready for the meal

The first time I laid my eyes on Fullhouse was at Sunway Piramid and become 'OMG, cutenyer restaurant tu. So white. So cute. So adorable' This time around kene cover sikit sbb pegi ngn in laws kan but I can't help myself taking pictures of the restaurant. So many things to see in every corner.

Those meant for sale and not just for deco

First floor
Second floor deco from the stairs

Stairs to third floor

It was such a full place with people gathering around for a meal and we actually have to wait to dine inside the house. They let us leave phone number to call when it's available so we can go somewhere else. But it wasn't that long to wait though.  We manage to have a table at the second floor.

From the second floor view

Cute deco

Be careful, the bird might poops on your head (joking!)

The food was okay and it's the kind that you can go for the second time to try something else. Not bad and quite delicious I must say. The portion? haha. Don't expect as much as Chillies ya? It's just nice for one and it's not even as plenty as you thought/seen in the menu.

Our starter no.1 - some kind of soup with a bit of almond

Start no.2 - softshell crab with wasabi

The drinks presentation somehow reminds me of Williams and even their spaghetti have almost the same concept. Just look at the bottle and you know you've seen it before. Ahh..lets not start talking about who copied who okay :P

Blueberry + asam boi's ball (the orange thingy there) + sprite

Honeydew milkshare - Just the same taste of Coolblog at Tapah :P

Hubby wants to order lamb but the stock already finish - such a hot meal I suppose. Therefore he ordered (more to I ordered) Chicken Chop (cause it looks super delicious in the menu) and Dory Fish for myself. In laws ordered spaghetti. I love my Dory gravy but the rest didnt like it. I felt some kind of weirdo cause I keep on saying I like things when all of them didnt like the taste of any meal on our table. Haha.

Chicken chop which is not fried but grilled. Nyummy!

My dory. Down there they got mashed potato. Perfectly done with the vege.

Kak Jah's meal. Lala je tuh but it tasted ok la

Dessert no1 - Creammy puff with some ice cream

Dessert no2 - famous Creme Brulee

Those creme brulee is so famous among chefs where I found not that sedap unlike some people keep on talking about. It's either Fullhouse's brulee wasnt good enough or I am no man who had no taste to judge on the food itself. Haha. It taste castard with some sugar been burn with flames on top of it. So you get the picture? :P

We take some time to shop (well, in actual, see) some stuff they have. It wasn't that pricey and quite affordable if you want to buy some cloths/hats/accessories.

They even have fitting room but not inside that bath tub, of course

More like a bedroom kan?

All those are for sale

Some deco at the corner of the room

Bath tub was somehow a trademark in the room, other than the birds

Siap bed tau. Baju2 tu mmg meant to be there. Also for sale.

Another thing that I love Fullhouse is their staff - no one is going to monitor you or at least give you cold look when you tried some hats/accessories and take picture or doing some tacky/goofy poses. So you are pleased to play around the, or should I rephrase try the items that is for sale, whichever you want.

Zahra tried almost all the hats in the store

It was a fun nights with in laws and thank you Along for the dinner! It's enjoyable place for a meal and a must try restaurant for you that wants something different environment.

Fashion Valet

Honestly, I didnt influence Hubby to check the site. I swear! The only thing that connects him and the online shopping site was Vivy's blog where I shared with him her post on Muslimah and fashion. He found the site at her blog and without my knowledge he browse through all the stuff and even pick some of it that he found suits to me. Tetibe rse mcm tgh men dolls jap. Haha.

The packaging

We kinda go though and browse the catalog for hours! Too many choices and I think if I'm fashionista enough, I would choose more that what I pick today ;) Anyhow, he manage to buy me one of the cloth and FV responds it very quickly! I must say the have a very fast service.

M for mine! haha.

I need to do a lot of adjustment to this cloth. Thinking of changing it to another since we can exchange item within 7 days as long the tag is not been removed. But I have plans *winking*

Vivy, I am looking forward for more items in your kedai ok?! :)

Yea..yea..hubby said they are not related but I love wedding and the most important thing is it is Royal Wedding! Malaysia ade buat coverage mcm ni? tak doooo! Haha. Did you know that they didn't kiss right after they are pronounce as husband and wife? This is because the church in England forbids 'You may kiss the bride' thingy - some sort of Hollywood stuff (source here)

Oh..you may google for much more interesting facts about the wedding from here and here.
