Lasagna yang huduh tapi lazat

Emosi tau buat lazat-nya ni. Kat kotak xde tulis pun suruh rendam. Kat reference blog xde pon ckp. Tipu! Tipu! Ni tak suke research resipi bergurukan google neh. Mmg try and error lah. Tp takpe. Usaha tangga kejayaan. Ewah :P

Kimah already made one when all of us was far away from Besut (tak aci). Hubby make her made it again but end up both of us do it on our own. Haha. Banyak kali call Kimah (as she was away ikut Ma g pasar) 'Kulit die ni kne rendam ke?' 'Bekas nk taruk gune mane?' 'Mushroom kat mane?' 'Bawang india ade x?' Gune semua barang yg die dah beli earlier. We just bought, preggo, mince meat and mozarella cheese.

1. Mule2 cincang bawang putih ngn bawang besar.

2. Takde bombay onion. Melayu onion je ade. Tumis, taruk daging, sos prego, pepper, garam.

Same ingredient macam spagetti but lg menarik kalau taruk capsicum. Cara masak pun same, except we choose Mushroom Preggo (tin kaler ijo). Pastu lg bes kalau taruk tomato. Ktorg nyer lasagna, versi cincai. So bnyk brg xde. Hehe.

Gune San Remo!

3. Taruk minyak/butter kat bekas and lapis with the sheets > daging yg da masak td > mushrooms > cheese. Ulang sampai puas hati :P

4. Oh..patut gune bekas petak since the lasagna sheet is square tp Hubby rembat saje bekas mane yg ade :P Bakar for 40/45 min with 180degree. (kalau rse xmasak/lembik lg, bakar lame lg)

Kawan2, jangan taruk sheet on top sebab ia akan mengerekot selepas dibakar dlm oven!

Lihat! Kimah ckp boleh je taruk tp kne make sure the sheets betul2 lembik and end it with LOTS of cheese

5. Buang kulit yang tak menyelerakan tu and ready to eat!

 Rezeki ayam

Rezeki ktorang. Wuwut!

I googled the recipe and found the ingredient was so damn expensive (tp super sedap ahh). The strawberry, the whip cream, the layers, fruits. Rase2 gaji tak masuk lagi tak yah buatlah. Haha. Anyway, I manage to find this recipe here and give it a try.

Ingredients. Jelly cap Nona is the key ;)

Any swiss rolls will do. Basahkan kek ngn air fruit cocktails.

Trifle puding patutnyer ada macam2 rasa but my lovely sisters pegi beli strawberry swiss rolls, jelly strawberry, yogurt strawberry. Sabar jelah sebab they are doing favors tolong belikan. Padan muka gua. Tp sep bek sedap. Nom. Nom. I become Pakar Kastard this time around and I have no troubles make it. Yesza. Learn from mistakes (and smudges) :P

Masak castard letak atas kek. Then taruk buah cocktail.

Tunggu castard sejuk baru masak jelly. Kalau tak inilah jadinya. Huduh2.

Kali ni belajar lagi kesilapan. Akibat tak sabar, tunggu castard skejap je pastu menggelupur masak jelly tu and taruk atas bekas. Huduh jadinya sebab castard campur ngn jelly. Rasa kacau sikit la sebab da bercampur. Thank God bekas kecik and I have to make it two separate container. So satu tempat buat salah, satu tempat for improvement. Hehe.

Ha...hasil utk orang bersabar

Sejukkan jelly bru taruk yogurt.

 Nyummayyyyyhh!

It takes a minute to prepare but it takes hours (ok. exegerrate. taruk dalam fridge cepat lah) to wait the castard layers and the jelly to be really solid and firm. Nak habiskan pun skejap jugak. Haha. Hubby dah request buat balik while writing this post. Lolz.

ps: Maybe next time try buat yang mahal and lagi cantik plak mcm ni ke? (wah..angan itu penting)

Restoran William

Tiba2 aritu wife mengidam plak nk makan kat William, sbb orang kata kat situ sedap kan.
Actually tatau nk makan kat William atau kat Murni. So at last sebab dah penah makan kat Murni, we decided to try for William. Murni and William ni siblings eh?

Oh, kitorg pegi ni before William move kot. Sbb recently I heard that William dah move ke tempat lain. I don't know.

Don't expect tempat dia exclusive cam restoran 5 bintang ke ape. Tepi jalan je yang kitorg pegi ni. And for some, mungkin nampak cam tak hygiene tempat ni.

Masa kitorg sampai tu around kol 8.30, sume meja cam dah penuh so ni kat hujung skali. Jauh dari kaunter ngan pelayan. Tapi org yang amik order tetap pantas datang tanya nk makan apa. Takde menu, so you might want to do a research first for what to have. Dorg ni jugak tak catit order yang dibuat. Terer dah kot. As of what we encounter, they never make any mistakes to our order.

Below what we had for dinner.

Carbonara meetball, sedap la tapi cam muak gak sbb portion dia banyak gile.

Mango lychee BIASA. Bila sampai kitorg tengok dalam botol separuh je, so like "whatttt?" takde motif tol. Kot ye pon BIASA, tak payah la sangat abnormal sampai separuh botol. Bagi je la yang gelas biasa ke.. I think kalau penuh botol tu gelas besar kot. Rasa, okay la.

Murtabak Hawaii. Wife amik ni sbb aritu dia rasa kawan dia bawak gi ofis cam sedap gila, but this time around not up to the expectation. So kinda frustrated la sket. Tp for me ok-ok je la. Tak sedap mana pon, kire tak craving dah la.

Herb mint, for that night I think this is the best part of it. Rasa nk berebut je ngan wife tapi takpe la pow sket2 je. HAHA!

Overall, okay la. Tak feveret sangat. Maklum la perut Melayu. Mane makan western2 ni. Btw, it's a good place to taste some variety of food from the normal day to day meal.

Taman Botani

Have you been to Taman Botani? It such a breathtaking and gorgeous place tau! (Ala..pompan ni sume garden pon cantik) Betul! Tak tipu! The only difference that this garden has is they have canopy walk yaw. But both of us haven't get the chance to go for it cause it already closed by the time we come.

Map
Canopy bridge. Kene bayar ni. Aih..sume pon kne byr.

From below. Not sure for how far this goes.

Ade restaurant.

Merasa la makan tepi tasik kan.

Jalan-jalan
Takmo jalan. Nak duduk pun boleh.

Need to cycle but you dont have a bike? This place also provide bicycle rental for RM4 per hour and you have a lot of small hill to ride. Not a good thing for lazy biker like me as I have to keep up with Si Kurus yang suke bawak laju2! Garrr!! TBH, I was thinking to take two hours simply because satu jam mane ckup beb but I read somewhere and the blogger suggested to just take one hour dulu, later you'll know why. Even Hubby pon berlagak jugak nk amek two hours tp xpe, no harm that just pay for one hour dulu.

Register and sign some papers before pay

Choose your bike!

Basikal budak kecik pun ada tau

Kalau ade bakul da bleh buat scene korea :P

Ada baby? Boleh bike jugak! (si rempit dan baby beso nk duduk blakang)

It has been years since my last bicycle riding (kat gym tak kire eh) and to have actually cycle around this huge garden was not a challenge at all!! but that's only for the first 10 minutes (boooooo!!) We are unsure which way to go and end up starting going up, and up, and up the hills. Later on, I began dragging the bike after give up forcing myself to get up to those small hills and hunches (konon lg tinggi lg cantik la view).

Feeling exausted, I look at my watch and it's just half an hour! Arrrr!!! Ok. Take a deep breath and be calm. Luckily we manage to find flat trails (big yeay!) and start having slow speed. Ahh...time to enjoy the scenery. Btwy, I tried to do a stunt where you let go both your hands and let the bike rides on it's own. (Well, basically you control using your body and pedal, get it?) but the rough surface makes it hard to do it (or it's me who lost the ability or I'm getting fat). It's so much easier to do it when I was a child.

Si kurus cycling. Tengok! Laju tinggal ktorg.

Flat trails but bumpy ride

Oh..I forgot to mention that they have Moroccan architecture (I dont know out of many things, why Moroccan? Maybe diplomatic reason kot) but it's still under construction. They are doing some modification to the building and we can see the craftsmanship they made on the wall. True beauty and impressive (and Hubby spoil the feeling when he mention 'tah..tah..die pakai acuan je')

A replica of Moroccan

WIP

Nak kata muzium pun bukan.

I would imagine they have a lot more to show to public when they finish the whole architecture. Maybe some fascinating interior from the country perhaps. Anyway, we went home straight away since it's almost noon. Sun doesn't do any mercy to this fair skin (eceh) and our butt was aching due to hard seats (I wish they have cushion on top of the seats) . The next day, all of us went to the office (three of us ride motorcycle) with pain in the ass. Great.

Sotong Pulut a.k.a Ketupat Sotong

As far that I remember, I never tried or ever eat Ketupat Sotong. I know lah it exist and quite well known at the East Coast. Plus, Umie never cook it for us nor I see her buy it. So there's a lot of reason that I am not keen to know how to do it. To my suprise, Hubby loves it very much as Ma always cook Ketupat Sotong for his family (MIL such a Master Kuih in this world I tell you).

Makanya, saya pun mahu lah belajarkan tp Hubby wants to do it plak. I know the basic ingredients by guessing and everytime I explain the process, he'll go like this 'Bukannn...' 'Takk...Ma buat lain' 'Eh..I know tau' 'Salah la..kne taruk *this* and *that*'. I give up.

Tengok orang gigih ^__^

Main ingredients:
- Santan pekat (3 cawan)
- Beras Pulut (1 pot) - ni pon lebih rasanya
- Sotong (Ktorang beli 1kg size besar. So dlm 6 ekor kalau tak silap)
- Gula Melaka (besar ibu jari)
- Garam (setengah sudu kecik) - kire secukup rasa la
- Daun Pandan (2 helai)

Cara-caranya adalah (wah rasa mcm dlm tv :P)

1. Basuh beras pulut. Rendam beras pulut dalam santan for an hour.

2. Put only the beras inside sotong. Letak half from the sotong. Sampai kat sayap dia.

3. Kalau suke kepala sotong, place it back inside and cucuk ngn lidi.

4. Jadinya macam ni

5. Then taruk air (agak2 paras sotong tu) and didihkan atas api

6. Da menggelegak dan pulut dah masak (agak2 je le pulut tu dah masak, lepas 10 minit ke) baru taruk santan (guneje santan yang rendam beras td). Tak pon tunggu je air tu dah kering separuh.

7. Slowkan api

8. Mendidih dah kuah. Hubby suruh let it be je atas tu but I prefer to keep on kacau sebab takut santan jd ketul

9. Tambah garam, gula melaka and daun pandan bila da macam nak pekat

10. Angkat and siap!!

Ma ajar sotong tu rebus dulu ngan air (Step 5) sebab tak nak santan tu pecah minyak kalau letak santan terus. Kalau pecah minyak nnt jadi tak sedap (tatau la tak sedap cam mane, tak penah rasa). Hehe. Hubby saya buat sedap woooo...Angah, Kak Jah and Along try and jd our unbias critic (ceceh). Siap Kak Jah and Along tak caya die buat sebab rasa sama macam Ma buat. Haha. Kalau Hubby saya rajin-rajin masak menda lain pun best gak nie. Heheeeeeee..

ps: Ma kata kalau suke, taruk halba. Stengah orang suke. Stengah orang tak (macam Hubby saye :P)
